Password Recovery
Use this guide if you have forgotten your password or your password no longer works.
- 1Go to the login page at /login
- 2Click Forgot password? below the sign-in button
- 3Enter your registered email address and click Send
- 4Check your inbox for a reset link (valid 60 minutes). Check your spam folder if it does not arrive within 5 minutes.
- 5Click the link and choose a new password of at least 8 characters with uppercase, number, and symbol.

No email received? Contact your organisation administrator β they can send a manual reset link from Settings β Users.

MFA / Two-Factor Recovery
Use this guide if you can no longer access your authenticator app (lost phone, factory reset, etc.).
- 1Try recovery codes β at MFA setup you were shown 8 one-time codes. Enter one in the MFA field.
- 2If no recovery codes: contact your organisation admin. They can disable MFA for your account in Settings β Users β Edit User.
- 3If you are the only admin: contact B-Brave support (see below) and provide proof of identity and organisation name.
- 4Once MFA is disabled, log in normally and go to Settings β Security β Set up MFA to re-enrol.

Tip: After re-enrolment, store your new recovery codes in a password manager or print them and lock them away.

Account Locked / Suspended
Accounts are temporarily locked after multiple failed sign-in attempts.
- 1Wait 15 minutes β the lockout is time-based and lifts automatically.
- 2If still locked, perform a password reset (see Password Recovery above) β this also clears the lockout.
- 3If your account was suspended by an admin, contact your organisation administrator for reinstatement.

New Account / Registration
Create a new B-Brave Gatekeeper account or join an existing organisation.
- 1Go to /login and select Create account and enter your name, email, and password.
- 2After sign-up you will be taken to the Organisation Setup wizard. Create a new org or ask your admin to invite you to an existing one.
- 3To be invited: ask your organisation admin to add you from Settings β Users β Invite User.

Browser & Technical Issues
If the login page or platform behaves unexpectedly, try these steps first.
- 1Clear your browser cache and cookies, then reload.
- 2Try a different browser or incognito/private window.
- 3Disable browser extensions (ad blockers, privacy tools) temporarily.
- 4Ensure cookies and JavaScript are enabled β the platform requires both.
- 5Recommended browsers: Chrome 110+, Firefox 110+, Edge 110+, Safari 16+.
